Elephant Mountain is a popular tourist place just outside Taipei and the majestic Taipei 101 and the Xinyi District. It's a very short brisk hike up 

to the top with the reward of breathtaking views of Taipei City  and Taipei 101.

here walk along Lane 150, Section 5 Xinyi Road (信義路五段150巷) at the end of the lane you will find the beginning of the hiking trail.

This peak is very popular with professional and amateur  photographers alike. For big events like New Years, they will start putting cameras there days before.

Many of the postcard images of Taipei 101,. downtown Taipei and beautiful Taipei sunsets were taken from this high vantage point.

Getting  there: Take a walk along Lane # 150, Section 5, Xinyi Road (信義路五段150巷)

When you reach the end of the lane you should see the beginning of the hiking trail up the mountain.
